Dell deserves some credit. I've been customer for years, and I have had some questionable customer service experiences with Dell in the past. I worried when my power adapter went on the fritz, that I might be down for weeks (especially with the holiday coming up).
I quickly got through to customer service, and after explaining my situation, the rep assured me I would have a new power adapter within a couple days. It showed up the next day.
The rep was easy to understand and helpful. He was adamant that I would get the part even though I've had problems with their shipping provider (DHL) in Tahoe in the past. And he was right.
Considering the ridiculously low price I got on the hardware, I found Dell's support to be more than acceptable.
