It has been a long time since I've done a proxy release. I have recently cleaned up the tree and prepared a release which I am calling SwitchFlow Reverse Proxy (SFRP) 1.0. This release has new workarounds on the client side for servers which make liberal use of the HTTP protocol.
In my work, to provide clean URLs, I make significant use of HTTP virtual hosting with multiple back end web server types (Apache, IIS, Tomcat, etc). That is the primary motivation for this release.
I intend to add features as they become useful to me. In the mid-term I want to improve the virtual host configuration support, and then moving away from an XML configuration file which is way more hassle than it is worth.
